Buffy wiped the sweat
from her eyes as Giles stopped the punching bag from swinging further. “Why now?”
He tilted his head
slightly. “Why not
now?”
She glared at him as
she stretched her muscles out. “Do not
riddle me today, Giles.”
He smiled, moving
behind her and gently kneading her shoulders.
“It wasn’t meant as a riddle. I
simply meant…you are the Slayer, this is a Hellmouth…evil
will come whether you want it to or not.”
“But…I’m happy.” She pouted, sighing as he worked a knot loose
between her shoulderblades. “Why can’t we just be happy for a while?”
He chuckled softly,
leaning down to kiss her shoulder. “We
can be happy and still fight evil, Buffy.”
“But, this is major
evil. This is ‘I’m going to kick your
ass and there’s nothing you can do about it’ kind of evil.”
“Perhaps we grew too
complacent.” He offered quietly, sliding
his arms around her waist and pulling her back to his chest. “But, if we have faith in one another…listen
to our instincts and obey them…we will be victorious once again.”
Buffy rolled her
eyes, turning in his arms to face him.
“So…hell is punishing us for getting comfortable in our lives?”
He lowered his mouth
to hers, not bothering to answer her question before he kissed her. His words would be of no comfort to her, at
any rate. But, he could comfort her with
his body...his touch…his love.
She didn’t need to
know that he actually thought that they were being punished. Not by hell, but by someone…the Council or
The Powers That Be, he wasn’t sure which.
Someone saw that they were getting too complacent in their surroundings
and decided to shake it up a little.
An image of one of
the many snowglobes that Buffy owned popped into his
head. Only instead of the plastic figure
skater, they were inside…he and Buffy.
They’d made their own little world, surrounded by love and
devotion. But, then someone shook it…and
the plastic snowflakes became demons, and vampires…and now, a God.
How the hell were
they to defeat a God?
Giles slid his hands
underneath the tank top that Buffy wore to train in, sliding his tongue against
hers as his hands moved upwards. He
cupped her breasts, gently kneading them as she groaned into his mouth.
He also didn’t want
to tell her that they might have to contact the Council for their
assistance. She had shot him down
quickly when he suggested their involvement to figure out exactly what Glory
was. As a result, he had had to call in
a few favours with a few beings of the demon persuasion in order to get the
information of Glory’s current existence.
He pulled from the
kiss and let out a deep growl as Buffy slipped her hand into his sweatpants and
stroked his quickly hardening cock. His
eyes darkened as she knelt before him, sliding his pants down his legs.
And as her mouth
enveloped his erection, all thoughts of Glory faded from his mind.
“God, yes…”
She looked up at him,
sliding her mouth back and forth along his length, scratching her nails along
the backs of his thighs. His hips moved
gently, his left hand resting on the back of her head. When he felt his orgasm quickly approaching,
he pulled back and smiled down at her.
Buffy shimmied out of
her clothes as he pulled his shirt over his head. He kicked off his shoes before removing his
socks and sweatpants. She lay back on
the cool mat, licking her lips as he knelt between her legs.
He covered her body
with his own, guiding his cock into her as his lips nipped at the side of her
neck. He didn’t bother with a condom…he
hadn’t in months. He knew her cycle
better than she did…and while it wasn’t the best form of birth control ever
invented, they both loved the sensation of him being inside of her…thick and
bare.
She curled her hips
and rested her knees against his sides as he settled inside of her. Wrapping her arms around him, she moved her
mouth to the base of his throat. She
felt the rumble of his groan under her lips as he began to thrust into her.
Neither of them were interested in taking it slow at that moment. They both needed to feel, wanted to bring each
other to orgasm as quickly as possible.
Admittedly it wasn’t just their need that was driving them…the others
would be there soon to discuss the newest developments on Glory.
And he really didn’t
want Anya walking in on them again. It had taken nearly two months before Anya quit mentioning it…and even longer for Xander to stop scowling at his girlfriend when she glanced
at Giles.
He glanced towards
the clock, squinting as his tried to force his eyes to focus on it. Realizing that they actually had very little
time, he slammed his hips forward. He
smiled as she threw her head back and groaned loudly.
“Sorry…not much
time…” He apologized as he thrust into
her with a hard, fast pace.
She matched his rhythm
quickly, her hips rising to meet each of his thrusts, her nails digging into
his back as they pushed each other closer to orgasm. When his mouth latched onto her throat, his
teeth scraping against her skin, she shuddered beneath him.
He felt her walls
tighten around him and pushed his upper body up. He watched her move beneath him as he
continued his thrusts. Beads of sweat
rolled down his chest as he watched her.
Her eyes glazed as her orgasm suddenly crashed over her.
He followed just a
few moments later, her inner walls still convulsing around him as her mouth
found his right nipple. She screamed his
name as she felt him explode within her.
He leaned down and
kissed her, his tongue slipping between her lips as his softening cock slipped
from her. She trembled as she lowered
her legs and carefully rolled him onto his back without breaking their kiss.
He wrapped his arms
around her as she slowly ended the kiss and rested her head on his chest. He sighed softly, his hands idly roaming over
her bare back.
He’d have to tell her
his theory tonight. It was the right
thing to do. But, he wouldn’t do it
now. He’d wait until their friends were
there.
And then he’d
reassure her that no matter what the Council or The Powers That Be threw at them,
he’d stand by her. And he had the ring
to prove it.
